I was just marking my Grade 11 students Math B30 exams on probability, and had some rather ridiculous responses (amazing alliteration, agreed?) to the question "Explain the difference between dependent and independent events, using sentences".
The person that I'm marking right now wrote:
Dependent evens depend on another even.
Independent evens do not depend on one another.
Nice.
