I read that article and noticed that line. I don't remember if I saw it at the time, but at the moment, I'm not sure just what the schizophrenia refers to. What is the school torn between ... mission and isolation? That must be it. Certainly there something about "our private schools" that's loathable.

According to Wikipedia, the UN has consistently reduced it's world population projections over the last 10 years DOWN from 10 million. At present, it is believed that population will "stabilize" at 9.1 billion in 2050.
Thats another 3 billion. Hard to imagine people saying that's not enough.
