A little tidbit from SaskPower
If every Saskatchewan household replaced just two 60-watt incandescent bulbs with two 13-watt CFLs, we would save enough electricity to power over 11,000 home for an entire year. This would also reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 81,000 tonnes-the equivalent of taking more than 16,000 cars off the road each year.
